My students need these resources to help them question what they see in the news media. They need to learn how to discern the truth from the opinion of the public. The students have to be able to become informed citizens rather than simple vessels. They will be able to learn from different perspectives and develop their own ideas about the world around them. They will create solutions to problems that they identify and share them with their classmates and others around them in today’s society. They will evolve as leaders and learners.
