I am hoping to use money as a reward system for my classroom. When students show great character, responsibility, effort, or participation, etc. they will earn coins. Once a week they will get to shop in our "store" or save. Money is part of an important standard that I need to teach my students. By using this real world system, students will get an extra 18 weeks to learn and understand coins and economics. These items will allow me to have enough coins to distribute easily and flexibly and will give me a great start to the store.
