These materials will provide my students with the opportunity to move their bodies while exercising their brains. Flexible seating allows my students to choose seats in which they feel will help them concentrate more and which will set them up for success in the classroom. Each week my students will choose a new flexible seating option (they can stick with one they know that works best for them or venture out and try out a new seat). By doing this, it allows students to discover more about themselves and how they truly learn best. Flexible seating allows students to concentrate more on the content and material in which they are learning. To me, flexible seating causes students to not feel confined to their seats during lessons. I have found that students participate more and concentrate more when they are the ones who have chosen their seats in school. Overall, flexible seating allows students to take control of their own learning by choosing seats in which they can be function their best in.
