Students at my elementary school come from primarily low income families. Most students do not have access to literacy at home. My ultimate goal as a teacher is to provide a literacy rich environment that reflects the lives of all learners and allows them to ultimately succeed. I love to foster the love of reading and these books will be shared in my 3rd grade classroom library for students to read independently, in partners, or borrow for home reading. Our school motto is Every Child, Every Chance, Every Day. I would love to provide all the chances for literacy for my kiddos. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and generosity. It does not go unnoticed and touches the lives of so many students. Thank you.
