Our students come from rough neighborhoods. Our job is to provide them with a safe and nurturing environment while also growing them academically. We are in need of an SEL (Social Emotional Learning) calm-down room for our campus. We believe this room will benefit our students because it will give them a place to calm down throughout the day where they are able to work through their feelings/emotions in a safe space. Our students will be able to use the items for our project to learn about their emotions and how to deal with them in a productive manner.

About my class
