HELLO SOFT START MORNING BINS! The soft start offers a welcome into the school day that an expectation of silence and morning work do not! How do you like to start your mornings? When you go into work don't you like to be greeted and ease into the day? Its the same with students!! Who wants to have work thrown at them right away and be forced not to talk to anyone? Soft start morning bins are filled with manipulatives that help students wake up their brains to be ready for the day! They promote creativity and essential skills like creative thinking, imagination, oral language, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem solving! In a world where we are so focused on test scores this helps encourage all of the skills that get pushed to the back burner!!
