Students have been greatly impacted this past year and gaps of understanding have occurred. I want students to have the tools they need to help them build an understanding of numbers and place value. Without number sense and number understanding, they will struggle throughout their mathematical life. With these math cubes and base 10 tools, students will be able to build and manipulate numbers and story problems to help them 'see' the number action and therefore understand how the numbers work. Students will use them daily to successfully model and solve math problems.

About my class
