The book sets will be used on a daily basis in our behavior and character education program ( BICS-Behavior Intervention and Character Education Support Program) geared to students in Kindergarten to third grade. Our SEL counselor of the program will do a whole group lesson each day on one of the emotions/character traits address by the books. Then during rotations students will review the book with the counselor individually. At the end of the day before students are dismissed the teacher and counselor of the program will review the emotion with the class. Art work and different exercises will also be done throughout the day with students based on the emotion topic of the day.
