Journals to address reading, reading comprehension, writing, math, and social skills help students overcome specific barriers. These structured journals allow students to work on specific skills in which they are below grade level. Teachers and staff are able to progress monitor weekly. In addition to journals, Mr. Smith is requesting English Language Arts materials students can physically engage in. All materials are hands on which engages students in auditory, visual and kinesthetic learning. Students with Autism excel in education when all three learning modalities are a part of their learning day. Help us provide an environment in which students can access the curriculum daily.
