I bought a couple of scoop chairs a couple years back. My students tend to fight over who gets to use them. Most of them now are broken or about to break. There are two classrooms in our school that are entirely flexible seating. I would love for my students to be comfortable while learning and have a sense of freedom when it comes to seating options. Some of my students have siblings in the flexible seating classrooms, and they have asked me for the same opportunities. Our district is moving towards a centers-based learning setting. These new chairs would complement the centers by differentiating the groups from each other.
