For years we have hoped for our school to go 1-1 with technology for our students. Last year, that happened and each student was able to use his or her own laptop during lessons for a more hands-on learning experience! However, each teacher was left to organize these devices in whatever way they felt was best. This leaves cords easily tangled or unhooked from ties, chromebooks are switched easily from assigned spots, and students have trouble taking responsibility in organizing the chromebooks on their own. With these carts, my students can take responsibility of managing their chromebooks each and every time they need to use them and put them away. This is important because I want each student to build skills of autonomy and take ownership in things that belong to them in our classroom. We use these chromebooks daily, multiple times a day. These carts will allow me to make sure that each chromebook is accounted for and plugged in at the end of every class period and at the end of each day. I would be so appreciative if you helped me acquire these carts for my classroom! Every little bit helps and I would be so thankful!
