I will use the physical items on my list (lamps and the printer) to help foster an environment that allows for peaceful and calm discussions of real-life topics and encourages students to print out their best work to hang around the room. I think seeing something you've created can be a wonderful help to students who are struggling with self-confidence. Our books would help students understand more about who they are at their core and relate to others on a more personal level. When we see other people who are like us or who are going through some of the same things we are, we are more likely to learn from them. I hope to offer more diverse and inclusive book sets to help students understand themselves more.

About my class
