The items that I have selected will provide my students with more engaging learning tools during center time. These items will help enhance literacy and math skills along with fine motor development. The items will also encourage sharing and communication skills as the students play in the dramatic play centers. I also chose books that will represent some of my classroom population which studies have shown to improve a child’s self-esteem and self-efficacy. Other items selected will help me display the items in our classroom so that they are visible to my students.
