Kindergartners are our future generation. With this classroom library, my students will be surrounded by well-written books that celebrate and normalize diversity and inclusion. 5 and 6 year olds have limited life experiences, yet are accepting of differences, and this collection of books will give them greater insight into the lives of others. Deep conversations will be sparked in the safe space of our classroom. As a teacher, I will be given the opportunity to teach and model kindness and acceptance. This generation can be advocates for a more equitable future. I am excited to provide a path to change in my classroom!

About my class
