The students will be using these books in the classroom to promote reading. Students will be able to choose books that include authors and characters that look like them. Building literacy in our scholars is a priority in my classroom. A literacy rich classroom is imperative for students to become fluent readers and better students. When students are more comfortable and confident in reading they become better learners and test takers. Please help me instill the love of reading in my scholars and help them prepare for an adventureous school year.
