The students in my classes have a range of difficulties learning which is what makes them eligible for exceptional student education. All of my students struggle with staying focused in a variety of settings (ie.- small group, whole group, independent work). Learning something new can be very overwhelming for them. Concepts must be broken down into small steps with lots of repetition. This can cause a lot of stress and anxiety.
