These materials will help make a big difference in my students' lives at a Title I school. These resources will be used mainly in the classroom at school. These students often do not have the resources to be able to take learning into their own creative hands and ask questions about the world around them. With these items, I aim to create a collaborative classroom with a new classroom rug where we meet each day to share about ourselves in order to build community. I will help guide each student towards their own thinking and discovery through the use of STEAM activities (including but not limited to science exploration, art projects, engineering etc. which will also be tied into cross-curricular themes) and resources for them to use to help them go beyond what they believe they are capable of and earn a sense of pride in their own learning.
