Getting these different types of seating in my classroom will allow me to eliminate having so many desks and giving freedom of choice to my students. This opportunity will give my students who need to constantly move just that opportunity. Students will be allowed to choose their seat every day, depending on how they are feeling that morning. This not only gives students ownership of their area but also power of choice. This will build independence for my students. I also hope that this choice of seating will also help to improve self-control.
