In my request, I put in 2 different shelving options. Either one I would be grateful for. Requesting shelving will help grow my guided math center. Students have loved all the manipulatives we use, and I want them to be accessible and not behind in a cabinet. A shelf with bins will be labeled to help the students see and help themselves for independent learning time. In addition, students will be able to use the supplies during a rotational Guided Math group work time. Hands-on learning has grown students' growth and understanding. Easy access gives a chance for the students to have power in their own decision-making. They will pick between task cards, multiplication/division games, and various small hands-on learning activities. There will be activities to review skills in Fractions, Decimals, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Place Value, and more.
