I am a first-year teacher and I received an empty classroom with no books. I wanted to have a classroom library and I have thankfully received plenty of book donations! All the books I have in our classroom library are in English but I would love to add a Spanish section to our classroom library. I am a DLI 3rd grade teacher and the students do learn in both Spanish and English (50/50 model)! Having Spanish books in our library would help them practice their reading as well as test their reading comprehension. I would also love to include a carpet in my classroom for read-alouds and morning meetings! My students and I would really appreciate these donations. Thanks for taking the time to read about my project!
