When students are becoming independent readers they need to have the choice of WHAT they read as well as WHERE they read. I would love to have all kinds of options when it comes to seats in my classroom. Some kids need to wiggle while they work but some kids need a traditional desk. Some students need to recline, some like to sit up straight, while others work best laying down. This project will give my students these options and allow for the best classroom setting possible to encourage strong independent readers.
