These new materials will help the students in my class become more mindful of their emotions as well as the emotions of those around them. We currently have a daily Mindful Minute in class. The new picture books will be great guides in mindfulness. Many of my students will benefit from the alternative seating, especially the wobble stools and the the balance ball chair. Many students need to integrate movement into their learning in order to focus. The wobble stools and the balance ball chair will allow for alternate seating for the students in need of this movement and will help them to focus on discussions and activities in class.
