In Florida every year there are books labeled "Sunshine State Books". Students typically receive recognition when they read these books and can even earn parties! I would like the books on this list in my classroom so they are easily accessible. I would also like to read a few out loud this year, as I have found that to be one CRITICAL way to connect students to enjoying reading. There are a couple of other series I have seen kids love in the past, and I would love for those to be in my room as well!
