I believe that the iPads will give my students a great advantage to learning the foundations of reading through phonemic awareness activities. There are great websites and educational apps that will build upon letter names, letter sounds, rhyming, and syllables to teach the students to learn to read. I will use the iPads to scaffold our learning to get my students prepared to become successful kindergartners. I look forward each year to giving my students fun interactive ways to learn to read in a no stress, friendly, carefree zone. It is important for me to teach my students with enthusiasm and positivity.
