I am moving to a new classroom this year where there is only tile flooring. Having a large carpet area where my students can convene each morning for our classroom meetings would be ideal! A consistent meeting place would make a warm, inviting space where my students and I would be comfortable to learn and share. Not only would the children be able to use this space as a whole group, but also they would be able to move to the carpet to work independently, or with a partner if they choose!
