Flexible seating gives the students the opportunity to be comfortable while learning. I always give them the ability to stand up as long as it doesn't block the other students sight lines. We work in the floor as much as possible but there is definitely discomfort while doing it. My students are wonderful and work hard but they have desks that are too short and chairs that are too small. We need the comfortable options to help them be happier while learning. As well as not so cold while working on the concrete/tile floors. We will use these items to start transforming the classroom into a mostly/full flex seating space. That way those tiny desks and chairs can be a pain from the past as we go forward.
