These materials will make a difference by providing students with access to good literature on their reading levels and affording them exposure and the ability to practice these skills often. Students will be able to take these books home to practice the reading skills learned in class daily. Books will first be sorted by levels, so students are able to choose books that are of interest and are readable at their independent reading levels. Students will be able to borrow books from classroom library to practice fluency, decoding, and prosody, after first having the teacher introduce them and create interest.
