I am currently teaching in a Summer Program at CGES where the classrooms have collaborative tables with white boards. The tables have been extremely helpful for the students and myself. The students are not confined to show their work in a small square or using pencil and paper. Rather, they have plenty of space to represent their mathematical thinking in a more quicker and interesting way. I am requesting two tables because I also co-teach for my students with learning disabilities and/or accommodations. The co-teaching and learning could excel to greater heights with two collaborative tables. Again, incorporating the collaborative tables into my classrooms would make learning Math ten times achievable and successful!
