As a 21st century student, my students must be able to keep up with the latest technology and new ways to create presentations to spark creativity and uniqueness. Students in my classroom are learning about historical figures in history and their importance to our country. My school has a collection of Chromebooks available for each grade level but we lack any headphones, especially ones with microphones. Students often bring headphones from home but still struggle as they do not have microphones built in and are often earbuds that last a few classes and then are already not working. With quality headphones, students will be able to watch videos and listen to webinars when researching about their historical figure. Students will then also be able to use their headphones to record themselves speaking over their digital presentations.
