This project is requesting Eyewitness readers, folder games, and practice cards for our centers. All these materials will help develop students reading comprehension skills. It is a fact that many of our students are below grade. Guided reading is a reading approach that allows students to read independently during a small group but directly supervised by the teacher, which leads to improvement in reading level. These materials will allow the students to read leveled texts, and at the same time collaborate with peers and practice individually reading comprehension skills. Our 4th-grade students will benefit greatly because it helps with intervention as well as enrichment.
