Using LEGO Story Starters will support the literacy engagement in my classroom by providing an authentic, hands on learning opportunity for my students and help turn writing into a more purposeful and meaningful experience. My students will have the opportunity to collaborate and practice meaningful conversations to which supports building their oral language skills as well as provides opportunities for them to learn how to work together and support the learning of others. Supporting my classroom innovation will also provide the community of ELL students as well as SPED students in my classroom a chance to better engage and access the general education curriculum.

About my class
