In order to promote reading this year, I am wanting to enhance our library so that students will want to be there. Flexible seating, pillows, and ambient lighting will help students feel comfortable in a quiet space in the classroom. Overstuffed chairs, rugs, pillows, and a variety of books such as inspirational, adventurous, biographies, and many more will capture their attention. Having a safe and comfortable location in the classroom allows students to be themselves, relax, and unwind. Our library is an opportunity for independent reading, small group lessons, and the enjoyment of books.

About my class
