I am a second-year teacher and my first year was during Covid 19. I taught simultaneously with some of my kids in person and some at home. This year coming up will be my first time teaching in a classroom with all of my own kiddos! I realized with the kiddos I had in person that they all had their own needs to learn. Some of my students got tired of sitting in chairs all day. Some students said they can't learn as well when they are not comfortable. My school incorporates flexible seating and I would really like to have the resources for students to be able to sit comfortably and learn. I am imagining allowing my students to be able to rotate as needed. Each student learns differently and allowing them to sit in flexible seating gives them an opportunity to learn at their comfort.
