In this time of technology based learning, it is imperative to have up to date technology in order to adequately meet the needs of my students. I am currently a 1st year reading teacher looking to create an interactive, engaging, and memorable classroom. 6th grade is a foundational year where students need to hone in on skills that will take them beyond just the 6th grade. The iPad will allow them the opportunity to use learning based apps in class that help them practice these skills, while allowing me to effectively demonstrate these skills as well!
