The students at our school have such a passion for soccer, although, many do not get the opportunity to play. Next year, we will start a program to teach the beautiful game of soccer. The program will consist of the fundamentals of the game, scrimmaging against each other, and character development. I can't wait to see their faces when they see the soccer goals and equipment. This program will give students the feeling of being on a team and a part of the soccer family within our community. Sports have a powerful way of teaching youth perseverance, how to overcome adversity and become team players.
