My school is a Title I school. This means it is a lower income demographic. It’s my goal to fill my classroom library with diverse books so that all of my students feel included when they pick a book to read. I want every student to have access to books and to feel welcomed and included in the literature they are reading. I have only been teaching for a year so my classroom library is small and not very inclusive. Please help my students have books to read and use to learn more about themselves and others. Thank you!
