This year, I will be moving from a 4th grade classroom to a 1st grade classroom. It took several years to build my classroom library, and I'm now in need of books more suitable for lower elementary. I want my students to see themselves represented in books, and also learn about those who are different from themselves. I truly believe that readers, young and old, can learn so much about themselves, each other, and our world by opening up a book. Your donations to fill our classroom library with diverse books will help my students learn these invaluable lessons.
