These materials will help students with social-emotional learning, which is one of our school-wide goals. In addition, it will give students tools and strategies to regulate their emotions and express their feelings in constructive ways. The books will be used to teach students about feelings. The students will make individual glitter jars, which is a strategy used to help regulate their emotions. We have a very diverse school. We ordered crayons and construction paper so students will have supplies to match their skin color. The strategies that are taught can be used both at home and school.
