Having a set of cube chairs will allow the students to have their own defined space to sit in during large group time. A defined space for sitting helps the children attend to teacher directed activities such as stories or songs. During large group time, students learn new language, answering questions, following routines, and taking turns. All of these are important skills for them to have a strong foundation prior to entering kindergarten. The tricycle will help encourage gross motor development, and allow a tricycle that is in very poor condition to be retired.

About my class
