I am a first year teacher at a Title I school in Bakersfield, CA. I will be teaching 4th Grade! I wrote my Master's Thesis on Social-Emotional Learning and I am passionate about making my classroom a fun learning environment. Flexible seating in the classroom not only allows children to move their bodies (which increases oxygen flow to the brain) to keep their minds alert and focused, but it also makes learning fun! In addition, individual dry erase boards can be utilized for various learning activities and are arguably the most versatile classroom tool. Last, my students need individual headphones for when they do chromebook work. It's too distracting without them and our school does not provide them. Thank you so much for taking an interest in my students so that I can make learning fun for them!
