We will be utilizing the Classic Composition Book as interactive notebooks to reference throughout the year. These books will help my students with their organizational and communication skills. In addition, they will be able to take ownership of their learning and truly engage with the material being presented. Synthesizing thoughts and communication is a lifelong skill that I hope to instill in my students this year. Students will have the opportunity to be as creative and thorough as they wish when using these notebooks. This creates multiple learning approaches that will allow for higher-order thinking. I believe they will be able to attain and go beyond their goals. It is a great opportunity for them to connect with their learning on a deeper level.
