These books will help blossoming readers to realize their opportunity of loving to read. I will use these books both as a whole class and in small groups to challenge readers to read something out of their “level.” I will use these books to help students identify story elements such as character, setting, and plot. I will use the books to help teach young students responsibility and how to care for texts. Having class sets of these two books in my classroom will help my students to visit other places that they may not have another chance to, otherwise.
