As a student growing up, I learned best when my teacher was on my level. The most intimate learning is done while your educator is equal to you. Navigating teaching and learning though a pandemic last school year made me realize the importance of being physically close to your students. The rug I am requesting will create an environment where my students can gather around together as we create a close knit classroom community. I already foresee some amazing morning meetings and classroom conversations taking place here. The three books I am requesting all will be used to create an inviting and trusting classroom community. I plan to teach my students to accept one another and love each other by using these titles. Thank you so much for your time and consideration to read my wishes.
