Kids are multi-sensory learners, especially in early childhood. Instead of watching a video when the weather is too hot or wet for outside play, these gross motor activities will keep PreK bodies busy and minds active during indoor recess and other times we can incorporate it into our learning. Not only does the physical activity help make connections in their brains, but these activities allow us to use play to reinforce language, alphabet knowledge and mathematical concepts. Our students can gain confidence as they master gross motor skills as well.

About my class
