As a resource teacher in Washoe County I am not given a set of materials or curriculum to use for my students. These materials would help my students with making progress towards their IEP goals and objectives. These materials would help the students work on math and comprehension skills while having a hands on approach to their learning. This will help my students reach their goals and objectives in their IEP. These tools will help my students gain a more hands on approach to their learning while being exciting and engaging. The math manipulatives and games with help students meet the following standards in 1st grade. CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.1.NBT.B.2 - 3 The reading comprehension tools will help my students meeting the following standards: CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.1.1 - 1.3.
