I love to teach my students through reading books that they can easily relate to and connect to their own lives. These books will help deliver the meaning of feelings, grief, and loss, self-control, self-esteem, kindness, friendship, anxiety, and worry. These books will help students find ways to cope with everyday struggles and help them to understand that it is okay to need help managing their feelings. I will use these books for whole classroom lessons as well as individual sessions that I have with students. The lessons will help at home, at school, and during everyday life as they grow.
