Chaos in a Kindergarten classroom can occur very quickly without the right tools to keep yourself and the students organized, especially during everyday activities like group reading and center time. The double sized white board will have multiple purposes including student use during their writing center, displaying student work, and acting as a divider between our play center spaces to reduce distractions. The seatback pockets will help students take responsibility of their learning tools and will act as their "home" for all their daily supplies. Time in a classroom is very sacred so tools such as the organization pockets and distraction-reducers can significantly increase instructional time. As a first year Kindergarten teacher, I will strive to ensure my students have everything possible to be successful in our classroom. These tools will help them achieve that!
