These games will help reinforce their learning and close the learning gaps that have been created during the pandemic. They are engaging and a fun way to assess the students' learning on the topics. These learning games will engage and excite the students during small groups. I have requested games in reading and math topics for many grades because I see students from Kindergarten through eighth grade. We will be using these games in small groups. These students will learn through fun and be able to show their new skills in games and fun. Due to the pandemic, learning gaps have been created and my goal is to help close that gap by using fun and engaging games. The reading games will reinforce phonemic awareness, vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency. In math, the games will include topics of basic math facts, fractions, and math vocabulary. The games will help students retain the knowledge needed to take their end-of-the-year state assessments. As a Title I teacher I see about 60 students a day and help them succeed in a small group scenario. We use dedicated lessons and these games would help reinforce their successes in our small group lessons. They will make our learning fun, which is what all kids want!
