This fall, my students will be entering middle school for the first time and I am excited to greet them with open arms and a welcoming classroom environment! These students have not been in person since March 2020 so it is imperative that the classroom is warm and inviting for all students. I plan to provide flexible seating options and easy organizational tools to provide a smooth transition back to in-person learning. The bean bag chairs will be used to provide seating options for students and can also be used in our reading nook or cool down corner. The cart, hanging folders, and paper organizer are all going to be used to create smooth procedures for students such as turning in assignments, finding missing work, and getting their necessary materials. The decorations will be used on the bulletin boards and walls to create a fun, exciting classroom for students.
