My classroom has 24 kids, however, I only have 5 laptops for the entire group. I want to be able to have enough laptops that every kid can use one or share one to complete work in Google Classroom. Technology is the wave of the future and my kids need to be up with the times. Schools and jobs will require people to be proficient in computer skills. My students are limited in their knowledge because we don't have the funding that Title 1 schools have. Most schools have Promethean boards and 24 laptops per classroom, but I have 5 for an entire class of 24 students. The new STAAR state test is being conducted on laptops and my kids need to be able to perform in order to get the funds needed to expand our technology.
